The integer exponent shall be stored in theintobject pointed to byexp.RETURNVALUEFor finite arguments, these functions shall return the valuex, such thatxhas a magnitude in the interval [0.5,1) or 0, andnumequalsxtimes 2 raised to the power *exp. Ifnumis NaN, a NaN shall be returned, and the value of *expis unspecified. Ifnumis ?0, ?0 shall be returned, and the value of *expshall be 0.
